It's the most wonderful time of the year!

The 2 divas

I love Christmas time.  Everything about it is magical.  I love the decorations, smells, lights, music, giving, and spending time with family.  I could sit by my Christmas tree all day and just stare at it.  I could watch Elf every day and listen to Mariah Carey Christmas on repeat. I am grateful to have such amazing parents to spend Christmas with and I have the 3 best brothers in the world, all unique and funny in their own way.  Christmas will be even more special now that we have a little diva to enjoy it with.  And the best part is we get a phone call from Elder Tingey in Texas.  Christmas is not the same without him but next year he will be home!

Isn't he adorable!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Update

These past few months have been busy so I am glad to have a little break before the new year.  Some things I have been up to...

- My writing teacher was unsuccessful in his efforts to turn me into a hippie, sorry I like to shower and eat meat too much.

-The NBA is back so now I have something to keep me even busier.

-I am officially done with the semester and ready for Christmas, I even decorated my own tree!

-I have put myself on a budget... So far I have failed completely.

-I finished buying and wrapping all my presents today and got a package to send to the brother in Texas.

-It's National Cupcake Day today, so naturally I had to eat a cupcake.

Until next time.

Day 4

day4- A picture of your silliest moment.

Any moment with Audrey is my silliest.  I forget my manners and that I am technically an adult.  I don't care what others think of me and I have the most fun.  She definitely brings out the best of me!

Day 3

day3 - A picture of the cast from your favorite show.

I have a lot of favorite shows so it is hard to pick one but Friday Night Lights is probably my actual favorite. I love everything about this show and got emotional when it ended.  Plus it has my absolute favorite TV character of all time... Matt Saracen!

Day 2

Day 2- A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest.

Tyler has been my best friend since the day he moved next door to me in 3rd grade. We did everything together. He got me through middle school and high school, protected me, encouraged me, and always made me laugh. Through many sleep overs, shopping days, vacations, dinners, sitting talking to our mothers, and just hanging out at the kitchen table he is always there for me. Now he lives in Boston so I can't see him every day but we will always be best friends. Some day we plan to be next door neighbors again.

California Girls

San Diego was amazing and went by way to fast. We played in the ocean, in the sand, in the pool, in the sun, and all over the city. We ate too much fish, Mexican, gelato, cupcakes, and donuts. We went to Sea World and saw all the big fishies, and where Abby and Elmo live. I got my first bee sting, (only downside) stepping on a stupid bee hidden in the sand. I got to play with Audrey all day, every day and get woken up at 7:30- totally worth it! We laughed and played games, shopped, and couldn't get enough Mater teeth.  I can't wait til next time!

In honor of tonight's MLB Allstar game here is a list of my baseball allstars...

Daddy's Girl

This is a week late but that's ok, my dad doesn't know how to read these fancy blogs.  In honor of Fathers Day here are a few things I love about my dad...
He is hilarious
He is the smartest person I know
He protects me
He is a good example
He takes me to Jazz games
He is famous
He plays games with me
He is a great Grandpa
He is white on the outside and Polynesian on the inside
He has a strong testimony
He is there for me when I fail and succeed
He laughs at his own jokes
He puts others before himself
He is a hard worker
He takes me out to eat
He is hip
He loves to travel with his family
He taught me to love the Jazz, Utes, and Yankees
He helps me with my homework
He taught me to love and understand sports
I will always be his little girl

30 Day Challenge

As of Monday, I have officially given up sugar, except on Sunday's of course!  It has only been 4 days and I am already dreaming of chocolate cupcakes, candy, and cookies.  For a person who has something sweet with every meal, and in between, this is going to be a long month.  Thank goodness for Diet Dr Pepper and fruit!

Her cooking and baking- she is a pro
She is sassy
She loves to laugh
She is a good listener
She is the best comforter when you are down
She is the first person I think of to call when I have news, whether good or bad
She taught me to always match my outfits, even if I'm just going to bed
We watch basketball together, whether the boys are home or not
She is my shopping partner
She is a good friend
She always puts others over herself
She will stick up for you, whether you want her to or not
Her scent- shampoo and mint
She cheers her kids on
She has a strong testimony
She never gives up on you, even when you have
She is the most fun grandma
She is super stylish
She loves the Jazz and the Utes
She is crazy
She disappears sometimes
All of her kids friends love her
She helps me survive in a family of all boys
She reminds me to pray
She is a good teacher
She is there for you when you succeed and more imortantly, when you fail
She loves her family, even though we are a lot of work
She is a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, wife, grandmother, and mother and I am lucky she is my mom!

ATL

I have always loved Atlanta.  I have never actually been there but I love it.  Why do I love a place so much that I have never even graced with my presence?  I have good reasons.

*First and foremost the Atlanta Hawks... Mostly Joe Johnson and Al Horford.  They are smokin hot.
Al, you are so dreamy!

*Atlanta is home of Chick-Fil-A. I hear they have them everywhere. I would love to replace the McDonald's on every corner for Chick-Fil-A. A girl can dream.
*Atlanta is to thank for T.I., Usher, Ludacris, and my close personal friend Lil John.
Homeboy can sing!

*It's warm most of the time and hardly ever snows. Trust me, I check every day on my phone.
*It's the south so it's charming and has amazing food.
*The shopping looks divine.
*And on my way home from work today "Welcome to Atlanta" came on the radio.  It's a sign... I'm gonna move to the ATL, well at least go for a visit!
Al I'm coming for you!

On a whole other topic this obsession with New Jersey has got to go.  New Jersey is an embarrassment to the rest of the USA. It is complete trash.  The people with their too big hair, orange skin, caked on makeup, and white trash fashion makes me want to vomit.  Please cross the bridge and learn some class from your neighbors from New York.
So not cute!
Enough with the reality shows and magazines. I don't want to see them anymore!

New Team, New Hope

I live and breathe for the Jazz.  I plan my life around their schedule so I don't miss a game.  Lately I have become a little concerned about how the team has been performing.  I feel like D Will gave up on the team 2 months ago.  I starting giving up on him then, realizing that he really did not want to be here and would be gone in 2 years... Never did I think he would be gone so soon.  I feel like he broke up with me.  Even though I knew eventually it would happen, it still hurt.
Fortunately the Jazz got something out of it rather than having a LeBron situation.  They got 2 young guys who are excited to be on a winning team.  I trust that they won't give up on me, like our previous guy did.  They came out tonight happy to be playing and for the first time in I don't even remember, the team was smiling and having fun.  It took less than one game for me to be sold on this trade.  I am excited for the future and what this new team can do.  We got rid of the spoiled Diva and now it's time to play ball.
On their way to be with the Jazz...
Call me when you get to Utah!
In Deron's first game with the Nets he re-injured his wrist.

Superbowl Sunday.  It's like Christmas at my house. The game, the food, the commercials, the company, and hot men in tight uniforms... What could be better?  And this year my dads favorite team since he was born is gonna win.  It's gonna be a great day at Bonnie and Rob's!  Lets go Packers!
Happy Superbowl everyone!

Cam

I want him to be my neighbor.  I want to be his bff and eat cupcakes and go shopping and then go back to his place and tell him all my thoughts and laugh and cry together.
He's big, not fancy, and I do love him!
