Why I love Monday's

I never thought I would say this, but I look forward to Monday.  I don't get excited cause the weekend is over and I have to get back to the real world.  No, that part depresses me.  But the good out weighs the bad in life.
Every Monday I get an email from this stud...

And I get to watch the Bachelor at the Bachelorette Pad with Baby Girl Fish.  Can't wait to see Michelle's madness.  I wish every weekday was as exciting as Monday.   

Tale As Old As Time

This post is dedicated to my all time favorite Disney movie, Beauty and the Beast.  I could watch this movie every day, and when I am with my niece, I make sure to watch it.  She loves her as much as I do. 

Belle is my role model.  I want to be like her.  She not only is gorgeous, and all the men want her, but she is smart and loves to read.  She doesn't want to settle with just anyone and knows there is something better out there.  She doesn't put up with Gaston and his crap, and even though he is what all the other girls want, she sees him for the real tool that he is.  I could learn from her on how to handle tools.  I've dealt with tools in my day and I just can't seem to put them behind me.  

She doesn't wait around in a high tower, or pretend to be someone else, or lie there lifeless, for her Prince Charming.  She goes out and finds him herself.  She looks beyond outward appearance and gets to know the Beast for who he really is.  She sticks up for what she believes in and is kind and gentle.  When she falls in love, the Beast turns into a handsome prince and they live happily ever after... Now that is a woman everyone can look up to.

Welcome to my world

I have been inspired by The Blog Father to start a blog.  Here are a few fun facts about me...

-Being the only girl in my family I have been trained or brain washed to LOVE sports.  Please don't ask me to play but I will watch  football and basketball all day.

-I am a self diagnosed shopaholic.  Do not take me to the mall... It is like taking an alcoholic to the liquor store.  

-When and if I find a man, he must love the Jazz, Utes, and Yankees.

-I am obsessed with nail polish.  I have over 100 bottles and the collection keeps growing.  You will never see my nails not painted.  I may have a problem.. Just ask my roommates and coworkers.  They catch me looking at nail polish and look at me like I am watching porn.  I must be monitored or I may spend my whole paycheck on new colors. 

-I love mashed potatoes, chocolate, Chick-Fil-A, corn dogs, and almost anything with sugar.

-I always carry chapstick with me.  

-I can beat any man in a burp contest, not even a challenge.  Just give me air to breathe and it's a guaranteed  victory. 

-If I could live anywhere it would be San Diego

-Elf is my favorite movie

-Favorite TV shows: Gossip Girl, Friday Night Lights, 30 Rock, The Office, Grey's Anatomy, Modern Family, Veronica Mars
